Not directly related to Freeway, but thought I’d note here that Indeeo has released a version of iDraw for the mac that uses plug-ins. The iPad version seems a couple of decimal points out of step with this at the moment.
They are using JavaScript as their language of choice, with added JSTalk for accessing confusing (currently for me anyway - if you want an interface, this is what you need to use) Cocoa APIs.
