IE6 issues

I’ve drafted a new site in FW5. Looks like it should in safari on my
mac.

I used IE NetRenderer Moved to
view the site and it looks ok on IE7 but looks horrible in IE6.

I tried to fix it the large phantom grey box under the menu by
setting different HTML code output options in the inspector.

Can anyone see why that weird grey box is showing up in IE6 under the
menu?

Try turning on IE compatibility mode for the page. It’s in the Output
tab of the Inspector. What you are seeing is IE’s very limited
support for transparent PNG files.

I believe IE NetRenderer disables javascript which is what the IE 6
PNG fix uses (assuming you have it enabled) so even it does display
properly you still won’t see it as such in Net Renderer.
