I have one site that is using an iframe. In a new site I tried to
add one and the action is not to be found. I was able to copy the
iframe from one FW file into another and it appears to work fine…
but the + sign or the X in the Actions window is grayed out. Does
iframe no longer work?
What HTML level is the page set to? If you are using a Strict
DOCTYPE, you may not use iFrame because it is not valid in that page
type. If you change to a Transitional DOCTYPE, then you can.

No, the Action is a standalone Action, not one that’s applied to an
item. This means you can’t add more Actions to it (no + button) and
the Action can’t be removed (no X button). To delete the Action you
just delete the item.
Test it out by drawing another standalone Action, you can access these
by clicking and holding on the Action toolbar icon or insert them by
using Insert>Action Item.
Hope this helps.

I couldnt seem to see iFrame listed in the menus anywhere. It was an
easy oversite - it is listed at the very top with a checkmark by it -
I was looking alphabetically through the rest of the list!

Yep, they are listed by the way that they appear in the Applications
Support/Freeway/Actions folder. If there are a bunch of Actions in the
same folder then they will be grouped together and listed
alphabetically. Because it’s appearing at the top of your list I can
tell that it isn’t actually installed for that version of Freeway. You
should reinstall it: http://www.softpress.com/kb/article.php?id=196
