I am noticing something that is taking up a lot of my time and I wonder if there is an easier way.
I have 9 graphic images on a page; they are all imported from photoshop and then converted to png.
To update the images on the next page, I am copying those 9 images and pasting into a new page. They are still pngs at this point and we’re all good. The problem comes when I drag the new .psd image onto the old – freeway always changes the image type to jpeg. This looks horrible in the browser, so I manually change each one of these back to png. I have over 900 of these to do, so that is a lot of extra clicking and editing!
Is there a way to either – force freeway to hold onto the png setting and not revert to jpeg or, select all the images at once and make the change once instead of each image individually?
Lets face it - if you want to automate an image editing process then use an image editor.
Once you have your page layout then it is just a matter of selecting the box Apple E and navigating to the right image. The trick is to have your prepared images properly catalogued in the Finder - 1 folder for each page type, same naming process for each of the 9 images then you can rattle through it quickly.
I am also assuming that you have a Master page set up on which all these pages are based.
