I save documents to my desktop in Leopard.
They files appear in the desktop folder. But sometimes (pdf-format, jpeg-format) the files don´t appear at my desktop screen. What happened?

Intaglio has always sent the Finder a message asking it to sync its display of any file Intaglio has changed. In Tiger this was seldom necessary since the Finder was pretty smart about figuring this out. Unfortunately it looks like Leopard isn’t very good about this (and even ignores the message from Intaglio). I’m looking into the problem.
For now, the best way I’ve found to force the Finder to update a window is to change the view style. For example, change from icon to list view, then back to icon view.
