On june 8, I got a message from “Intaglio-bounces” at freewaytalk dot
softpress dot com with the subject
“You have been unsubscribed from the Intaglio mailing list”
but no content whatsoever.
I ignored it and followed the current discussion on Making a 3D badge
in Intaglio.
Today I thought of checking on the Intaglio site and here is what
happened:
My email-password was not recognized.
I clicked “lost your password” and entered my email
I got the message “An email has been sent to you with instructions
to reset your password”
I never got the message.
Da capo.
Anybody has any explanation? Not a big deal as I use Intaglio
regularly but minimally (to do graphics in mathematics texts) and this
is probably my first post in seven years. Still.

The unsubscribe email was briefly mentioned in “And we’re back” though you might not read the FreewayTalk list. That email wasn’t meant to be sent (which I stopped from happening approximately a sixth of the way through) but everyone was unsubscribed and re-subscribed as part of migrating servers last week.
I’m not sure why your password would not have been recognised but I’ll send you a reset email manually and find out whether that email failed to send or [left our server successfully and] failed to be delivered.

Have you ever re-registered with a different address? I received a similar
email to yours sent to an old address. When I tried to log in my password
wasn’t recognised. I tried my old address and old password and it worked.
Re-made the changes from my old account which shouldn’t have existed.
All very strange as I’ve continued to receive email to the new address all
the way through.

No. I still have the June 24, 2008 welcome message!!!

Did not get _ your_ 2:52 pm message even though I got Bambrough’s Nor
did I get your manual reset email . But, don’t sweat it. As I said, I
mostly watch the action so all is really fine.
