If I create a drawing with layers using Intaglio Sketchpad on my iPad, is there any way to get an export with layers across to my Mac? The SVG export puts everything on one layer.
I’ve been using Intaglio for several years with few problems. Today
I opened a new file and tried to import a graphic using “copy &
paste” I could copy the graphic and get it on my clipboard, but when
I tired to paste it into Intaglio, the paste options were grayed!
I then tried the “Import” option and it worked, but the graphic could
not be resized, moved or modified at all. It did not appear as an
object and could note be selected or deleted. The only way I could
remove it was by “undoing” the import.
“Drag and drop” import worked similar to the Import command. Nothing
could be done with the graphic once it was imported.
I tried .tiff, .jpg. .psd. and .pdf graphics, all with the same results.
This is an embarrassing question because after using Intaglio for MANY year, I though I had a handle on it, but today my tool palette disappeared while I was using it! I’m using version 3.9.4 on a 27” iMac running OS X Version 10.12.1 (16B2555). this is what I have tried:
Rebooting the Mac and relaunched Intaglio.
Opening previous Intaglio file (still not toolbar)
Using the Window > Workspace > Tool Palette orientation to change the palette from vertical to horizontal and back… no palette!
Checked my 2008 User Manual but couldn’t find any mention of hiding or showing the Tool Palette!
It’s always been there, so I never had to worry about it. Please help!
That on hides or reveals the TOOL BAR. My problem is with the TOOL PALETTE, which is not longer present and can’t be found. I have never know of any control to hide or defeat the tool Palette! Thanks for your attempt to help.

[snip]
Right click on the title bar of the Intaglio window and de-select ‘Hide
toolbar’?
Every attempt to get the tool palette back failed. I downloaded a new copy of 3.9., the palette is back and the condition is corrected. But be a file corruption problem, or I’ll just use to old explanation that my techs came up with in my IT days, “Cosmic Rays!”.
