I have a MBP and an iPad. On the laptop are several iTunes movies. Both devices are setup to use a VPN and neither use iCloud (or anything else) for cloud storage except for the calendar.
I’ll be traveling with the iPad only and want to use it to connect to and stream the (iTunes) videos on the MBP to the iPad. Possible? If so, is there a tutorial?

I don’t think that it is without some sort of Cloud based intervention - I am assuming the iPad doesn’t have the storage capacity?
What about a WiFi enabled HD?
And then I found this The easiest & cheap way to Expand iPAD Storage [3-15-2012 A MUST SEE!!!] - YouTube - does depend on which iPad I guess.

There’s not enough iPad storage for the entire video library.
Hadn’t thought of WiFi HD.
That YT video is rather clever.
Thanks,

With the price of SD cards coming down that would certainly be an option at 3Gb per $
