javascript links converting spaces to %20

Hi,
I have been asked to add a javascript link to an external page to my FWP site. When I paste in the link FWP is forcing it into the html format by replacing the spaces with %20, which I assume is creating problems. Can anyway explain how to add a link that doesn’t make this change?
I have managed to add the jScript library in the head section of the page.
Many thanks in advance!

You can do this by adding it to the Extended dialog. Open the Hyperlink dialog, click External and add a space into the central field (or any character, it will get replaced by your JavaScript link) and then click the Extended button. In the dialog that appears you can add a new href attribute with any value you like, which won’t be encoded by Freeway.
