Joomla is a high-end server-based content management system (CMS). It
isn’t a web design tool, it is a way to manage and run large and
complex sites that require dynamic (database-driven) content and
online admin interfaces.

It is possible to create Freeway layouts that can be taken into a
Joomla CMS-managed environment as templates, but this requires
relatively serious programming experience.

There are other CMS options that can and have been used with Freeway,
including Expression Engine (Joe Muscura has some actions for this)
and WebYep (Max has some actions for this). It is definitely wise to
start off with action-based help if you want to get into this area.
The WebYep path is probably one of the easiest, as WebYep itself is
designed to be - relatively - less demanding than most CMS solutions,
yet has a pretty good ability range.

Dang! Sorry Joe, I realised I’d misspelled your name the moment I hit
the Send button.

THANK you for your reply to my post on Joomla! If there is something I do ”hate”, that would be programming! (For which I choose Mac in the 1:st place…! I have no programming experience @ all! But where can I get ”WebYep”?
Is this an action that is to be included in FW, and where can I get other FW actions? I once knew, but no longer.

WebYep is a CMS that do not need a database. More information and resource: Objective Development - WebYep
You can implement it with or without an action, but using Max highly recommended action would it make a lot easier and more “Freeway-like”. Max site: http://www.max-izzat.co.uk/
