Check this page out. The images move slowly and you can slide them across and they flip every couple of seconds. Look at the code and saw flexbox but not sure that is the code that does it.

There are so many scripts on that page that it is difficult to work out which is doing what - however there is certainly one called KenBurns.js
Flexbox is more a construction/page layout method than for effects
