Keynote to QuickTime

I’m creating a self playing QuickTime slide presentation. Building it first in Keynote then exporting (and tweaking) in QuickTime Player 7.

My question is how to auto-play the slides. They each have audio and are of different lengths, so setting 10 sec. for example wouldn’t work.

Is there a way to get them to play one after the other?

Thanks,
Robert

My guess the easy way is tweak it in Keynote and get the timing all correct and then export to Quicktime movie format.

Dale,

Aye there’s the rub. You can set Keynote to automatically advance a slide (Slide > Start Transition in the Inspector), but it does it based on a set delay time.

Each of my slides has an audio track (voiceover) that varies in length. Setting the delay to the longest slide would keep others on screen for too long.

What I want to do is set the slide transition to automatic but have each slide remain on screen for varied amounts of time.

After much head banging, I finally figured out that you can in fact set each slide to delay separately.

Sorry to have bothered anyone.
