Large background footer under content?

I’ve just completed a simple page design using conventional CSS layout.

The design took about a couple of hours, but coding took a painful couple of weeks – and I’ve now discovered Freeway!

In my design (at http://www.troutbeck.org/test.html ) there’s
a background picture in the footer which runs partially behind the main text, but which also moves down to accommodate any increase in the main column depth.

Can anyone tell me whether (and how) this would be possible with either Freeway 4 or 5?

Hi Brian,

It’s a nice looking site. Freeway can easily do this kind of layout, by using a series of divs with zero height, (to create the footer that moves down with an increased amount of text, or resizing of text), together with applying background images to divs with CSS. Freeway 5 is more friendly to do this.

With a little practise you will get the hang of it.
