Leading strangeness

I have a 4 line paragraph with size set to 28 and leading set to 31 (I take the numbers from put shop mockup of the site). In photoshop entire paragraph even with line Break (enter I suppose in photoshop ) looks great and evenly spaced , then in freeway leading between lines if there is no break looks great, but between lines with break looks odd in terms of extra space is added.
I ca not find any attribute for line break

Any help??

Have a look for space before and space after in the Style menu

In sounds like a Paragraph return rather than a Line break

Or physically enter a Shift Return where you want the text to break.

David. As usual thank you very much for reply
Tried both spaces with no luck.
When I typed this paragraph in photoshop I use enter for next line and I just copy/paste it , so what does it mean in term of code and freeway ?? Line break or paragraph returns ?. And in normal surcumstances how would you set correct leading for all paragraph ??

I found out with trial and error that all 3 style’s elements

  • space before
  • space after
  • leading
    should be enabled and messed with, only then the leading working in “photoshop” way
    At least this works in my case.
