Hi,
I thought that some of you might be interested in this.
This is a free ebook that is highly regarded among coders…
I haven’t committed to learning coding yet…
But if you guys feel like it… here it is: http://learnpythonthehardway.org/book/
Just as an addendum - there is not a free ebook available rather an online HTML version of Learning Python
Python is a programming language that lets you work more quickly and integrate your systems more effectively. You can learn to use Python and see almost immediate gains in productivity and lower maintenance costs.
Hi! Thanks for posting this.
As you said I haven’t committed to learning coding yet either…but this is something I that I know I need to learn. I hope I can start soon…
Zed Shaw, the author, is a character and a half, and a legend in the
Ruby community. (He wrote the Mongrel Web server from scratch, in C,
when it was looking really iffy whether Rails could “scale” to
enterprise level, and thus made it possible for Rails to enjoy the
market penetration it has now.) Way too smart, very prickly in certain
settings (like when people are failing to get what he says) and
frequently given to tirades. But he knows way more than any ten
programmers about the art and science of programming in any language.
Definitely recommended!

You’re welcome Marcus…
A computer science professor gave me the link… so I believe it
must be good.
Hmm, glad to learn that… Thank you Walt!
Yep, actually I google him and he is indeed a personality on the programming scene.
Good to know that this is good stuff.
