Does this login allow entrance to a single person, a small number of
people, or a lot of people? When people are logged in, do they see
unique (personalized to them) content, or does everyone see the same
thing as long as they’re on the guest list? How often does the guest
list get updated, and how technically sophisticated is the person
doing this? How valuable is the information screened behind this wall?
If you can answer these, then one or more of us can chime in with our
favorite suggestions. Depending on the levels of access and degree of
personalization needed beyond this point, there’s a whole world of
answers to your question.
One last question – how long can logins last? Do visitors get to save
their logged-in state (remember me on this computer), or does it log
you out after a period of inactivity?

Each log in is unique, but I question the need for that.
They don’t see anything unique to them.
I’m not that technologically sophisticated… yet.
Value? Yeah, we don’t want the competition to get it…
