Good afternoon,
I have a quick question…
with all the HDD problems I have had apple replaced my MBP for free because of the multitude of problems.
Through backups etc It seems that I multi copies of folders and files.
is there a software out there that can help me clean up my files and reduce / eliminate the duplicates?

There are a lot of options. Drive Genius http://www.prosofteng.com/docs/DriveGenius3Datasheet.html. I just did a quick search on MacUpdate and found this http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/10579/tidy-up!. Another very simple utility is Singular http://www.emeraldion.it/software/macosx/singular.html. I’m sure there are free ones too. A little Google-foo should get you in the ballpark.

Curious question – I have multi files sss-data.js
it is mult of 2 or 3 of what seems (per the program) of the same file - do I keep them all? (the ones in each color are supposid duplicates

It would be safe to delete them all as it will be regenerated upon next publish anyway.
