Folks, a two part question
-
I need to create a subfolder in the .Mac Sites folder to store PDF files in, to link to from a .Mac stored site. It’s easy enough to create the folder, but what is the path to use to direct the web site? I tried …/…/blahblah.pdf but that doesn’t work.
-
Is there an FTP address to use if I have to ftp stuff to the .Mac site folder?
Unfortunately, neither question found answers on the Help section or in the .Mac forums
Thanks

I’ve never ftp’d to .Mac, but in general:-
‘…’ means 'parent directory. So ‘…/…/blahblah.pdf’ means the
blahblah.pdf file in the grandparent directory. If the folder you
created is called ‘docs’, you would just use ‘docs/blahblah.pdf’. For
command line ftp you would ‘cd docs’ then ‘put blahblah.pdf’. In a
GUI ftp app you should be able to see the ‘docs’ folder and drag the
pdf into it.

Thanks. That makes sense. All that space going to waste over at .Mac seems a crime so I might as well make use of it!
