Well, I do like the last paragraph very much.

This has been reported on MacInTouch and Daring Fireball and other
Mac-friendly sites. I imagine that if you turn the thing back on
after updating or installing, you should be good. And I also imagine
that Apple will turn it back in in a few days, when they release the
first of many minor updates and security patches. (I have no actual
information about upcoming releases, just a hunch.)
