mal's

I know this is a repeat question,

I just need to confirm if there have been any changes.

  1. a client can not manage the products
    a. can web yep be used to do that?

Thank you again

I have a client that uses a particular cc processing merchant and is not compatible with ecwid at this time.

I’d assume WebYep could work for that. It’s not going to be dead easy to do, but I’m sure you could work around any of the issues you’d experience.

Remember also that you will be using PayPal or some other payment gateway option so you will get roped into doing invoices, payment receipts, and integration with shipping companies like UPS, FedEx, and USPS. You may also get into setting up unique customer accounts to track orders or to carry a history of past purchases.

Hi Julie,
I would encourage you and your client to look at Etsy - http://www.etsy.com/
It is a wonderful resource for selling and promoting anything hand made and will draw more traffic than your client’s own site. Once the items are set up in Etsy you can showcase certain products using the Etsy Mini feature; http://help.etsy.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/216
Regards,
Tim.

I have a client using web-yep and mals together. What I have found is it depends on which rich text editor you use in conjunction with web-yep. One of them works better than the others (can’t recall which one)…but one of them makes it easier to paste the little bits of mals code (links) into the rich text editor.
