I am finding an issue with several of my pages which seem to have broken the link to the master page for some of the page elements, but when I try to re-establish them it does not work. I may be missing something here.
My site is https://bgfa.us and the navigation menu links to 2 pages which seem to have a different font size in the navigation menu than on the home page, they are Artists and Prints.
The master attributes and content boxes are checked but it does not fix this. If I copy and paste those boxes from the master page into those pages directly, the issue persists.
You may be thinking in Freeway terms. Freeway distinguished between master content and master settings, and the Use Master Settings checkbox covered anything that isn’t content, including HTML attributes and CSS styles. However, Xway distinguishes between HTML attributes (for which the Use Master Attributes checkbox is appropriate) and CSS styles. You should be able to reattach a style by selecting Use Master Style in the Style section of the Box Inspector.
If that doesn’t fix the problem, send me a copy of your Xway document (via support at softpress dot com) and I’ll take a look at it. You can copy the document by choosing Duplicate from the File menu, and you can reduce the size of the copy by choosing Empty Site Folder from the File menu. You will probably need to use a file transfer service (e.g. Dropbox or WeTransfer), since email servers tend to reject large attachments.
Thanks for sending your document. The problem on the BGFA Artists page is happening because you have defined a default link style for that page (Default Styles section of the Page Inspector) which defines the font size as small. You can undefine this by choosing Undefined from the Size popup, or you can remove this default style entirely by selecting Use Master Default Style. You need to do the same for visited links. This may also be happening on other pages, so it’s worth looking at this section for those pages.
