I want to buy FW 6 next month. Can anyone give me some tips for preparation of my existing site to migrate, and some best practice how to start using FW6?

Any migrations I have done have gone very smoothly. Just make sure you hang onto your copy of 5.5 for the time being in case something does go wrong.

But, how about the actions used and getting the FW6 verslons of these actions to work? Did you make a copy of your existing document and opened the copy in 6?

When you open the document in FW6, it will automatically save a backup version for 5.5. After you download 6, and before you open any documents, go through your 5.5 actions and download and install the versions for 6 (Freeway 6 and 5.5 store the actions in different locations, so there shouldn’t be any conflicts). Not every action has been updated, but most have.
