More than one fading slide show?

I have made a fading slide show using the actions Target Show/Hide Layer and Sequence Timer. Is there a way to do this twice on the same page? I have tried with no success as once Sequence Timer has been applied to the page and a target group that’s it, no further options for other target groups as far as I can figure out.

Just posting this again in the hope that someone might know if it is possible to have 2 sequence timers running at the same time on one page.

I dont think its possible Richard but you could try using an iFrame to display the 2nd one.

Thanks David, did not think of that despite having happily employed iFrames on a couple of other sites. What I would like to do is replace the two fading Flash shows on this page with iPad friendly ones. I will play with iFrame unless someone has a better idea.

Hi Richard,
Try giving both image sets the same target group names and numbers and play with the transition timers so they don’t animate at the same time. This way when the page loads it will send the same trigger event to both image sets and will start the animation process off.
Regards,
Tim.

Hi Tim

I finally got around to looking at this and it it almost works. However the transition timer does not seem to be variable. Whatever value is chosen for the first image transition this is copied for all subsequent images transitions regardless of what is typed into the duration box.

See also my posts in this thread earlier today http://freewaytalk.net/thread/view/84805 where the same issue arrives with using Target Hide Show layer twice on the same page. Only one speed of transition is allowed and this is governed by the first TSHL.
