mountain lion

Last year at this time there were several threads about Lion and if all will be compatible etc…

it’s amazing - I have not yet seen one and mountain lion is “supposedly” being released tomorrow…

So softpress, are we all good for this release?

Friends, who is going for Mountain lion?

Oh, I probably will. I tend to upgrade sooner rather than later.

Me too, and I just invested heavily in Adobe to do it as well.

I hate Adobe upgrade policies. :>(

Hear, hear on Adobe policies - I need an alternative to Illustrator. I’d like to upgrade to Mountain Lion and was wondering the same thing re Softpress.

Hi folks,

Just to let you know, Freeway is ready for the release of Mountain Lion. There’s one minor interface issue that we’re aware of but it won’t prevent you from doing your work. Expect to see an update for it in the near future.

Cheers,

Joe

You should check out http://roaringapps.com for all of your important apps to see if they have been tested and are compatible before you upgrade. So far for me I use Final Cut Pro 7 and it has not been tested so no upgrade for me.

So far so good! Love the mail pop ups in the corner instead of opening up
Mail. Also Ike notes as a separate app instead of part of mail.

It is very much like growl, called notifications. Settings include mail, twitter, calendar, reminders, notes, and a new three finger gesture that slides the desktop over about a third of the screen to access these alerts (choice of three like iPhone/pad) after display. I wish a little notepad version was there also

I’m holding off till Monday. Besides Adobe issues (which is a real pisser) my favorite font utility (FontAgent Pro) is not compatible, although new version is supposed to be released in a couple of days.

Even though some Adobe softwares have not been tested I took the risk and installed Mountain Lion.
So far I don’t have any problems at all with any Adobe software. I have Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop CS5 and CS6 and all is well. I use Suitcase Fusion as fonts utility and no problem also.

Thanks,

Marcus

Here’s a little note from John Nack, the Photoshop product manager:
