I have made some MP3 audio files and exported them out using audacity 1.3.12
I am using the ‘MP3 via quicktime’ action to play these, however when I apply the action and go to select the MP3’s I have exported in the actions window, they are all greyed out so I can’t select them?
When I export the MP3’s I am using the option 320 kbps. This is the highest bit rate available.
Can anyone please tell me why this may be occurring?
Freeway might still be looking for the old (Classic) type and creator
codes when identifying an MP3 file, and Audacity most likely does not
set those, since it’s quite a bit more modern than that. But check the
filename and make sure it ends in .mp3 first – if it does, and
Freeway still doesn’t recognize it, you might want to send the file
itself to support(a)softpress.com and have them dissect it.
