Neat feature! (request)

Here’s a screenshot from an intro video for the simple web builder program Sparkle.

They have one really cool feature which publishes a real time preview over your WLAN so it can be previewed on different devices (your iPhone, iPad etc.)

Yes, you can probably sort of do this with FW (not real time) manually - and yes you can upload a FW site and preview on virtual devices in many places - but this is very nice.

Agreed, this is a very nice feature, especially for responsive stuff (since viewing the website on as many devices as possible is very helpful). With that said, you can use Anvil for doing this for Freeway websites: http://anvilformac.com

Had a quick look at Anvil Caleb and the documentation is scant. Can you give us a quick rundown on how it works.

Downloaded and installed it but not sure what to do next.

It will launch in the menubar — click on the icon up there, make sure the toggle switch is set to “on”, then click on the + button to add a website. Locate the root folder (/Site Folder/ if you are using Freeway) in the folder picker dialog, and click “Okay”. Your website should be added to the list. You can click on it directly to open up the .dev domain (just for your computer), or right-click to get the LAN URL or rename it.
