need help with CSS menu

Hi everyone…

I’m working on putting together a template page that I will then convert to a Master.

I’m having some (slight) problems, though, with the CSS menu. Even though I’ve gone into the action window and designated that text (which is currently either gray or orange) in the main menu and sub menus should go black when it’s hovered over, right now nothing changes at all.

I’ve taken the icons out of the bar and that hasn’t made a difference. Does anyone have any other ideas about how to fix? Or what I’ve done wrong?

Thank you so much.

First thing to check is that you have no colour/styling on the text in the CSS Menu container.

Select the text then in Edit>Styles > remove styling

Nothing is checked there. Is that what you mean?

No - I mean select the text in the Menu container and make sure there is no colour styling applied.

You can remove any styles by selecting all the menu text then go to the Style Menu and Remove Styling

Only apply the colours using the CSS Menu action interface (Links section)

Thank you thank you … that did it! I removed all the styling, put back the font choice and size and then let the CSS menu interface do the rest…
