The Netflix website has a feature where when you hover over the title or dvd cover icon information about that dvd pops up in a small pop up. Does anyone know how this is done and if it can be replicated in Freeway 5 Pro?
I’m new to Freeway and so far I have not been able to find anything similar to this effect.
Hi Warner,
You could use one of any of the many third party libraries to do this
like OverLib (http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/) for example - or
simply roll your own using a combination of Freeway’s own Rollover and
Target Show/Hide Layer actions. When the user rolls over the target
item you can have the action make an initially invisible layer visible.
Regards,
Tim.

Thanks Tim. I did try to create my own using the method you described but when the background where the pop up appeared upon rollover was not consistently a single color, the image on the target layer appeared with a non-transparent fringe around it. In other words, the portion of the image which was suppose to be transparent was not. I tried it with jpeg and png versions of the image.
Hi Warner,
I’ve just tried this and if you change the hidden layer to a PNG and
set the color to Millions then the fringing will disappear and the
layer will blend seamlessly with the underlying page.

Tim.
