New Action: GetFirefox

Clearly only for personal or fun sites, as your clients may not
appreciate telling (sob) most of their audience to go away and get a
non-broken browser. But anyway, here you go:

This page action inserts a special tag into the very top of your page
which will only be displayed by IE/Windows browsers. When viewed in
IE, your page will include a warning panel featuring a Firefox logo,
the words Get Firefox! large and orange-red, and the message: “Please
protect yourself and the Internet. Download a safer browser today.”

I actually have a serious use for this, as the control panel for my
CMS doesn’t behave predictably in IE. So I warn my clients off with
this alert. It reminds the ones who have not set Firefox as their
default browser, and keeps the support calls to a minimum.

What about Safari for Windows?

(Is it out of beta yet?)

Unlike IE, Safari for Windows actually works and can display
standards-compliant pages correctly.

That’s what I meant - your Action could tell them to get Safari as well.

As soon as they release a non-beta version, and I will add that for
version 0.2!
