Welcome to the world of the Web, ‘saul13’.

In the Upload box the Server is normally the ftp.name of your website.
The Directory is the place where your files will be held on the server
and your web host should tell you this - it’s usually something like
‘htdocs’ or ‘public’.

Towards the bottom left of the upload box is a tick box for Passive
FTP Mode (PASV) - try toggling this on and off if you still have
trouble.

The web host should have set up everything so that you can just up
load you site from FW via FTP. However if you have transferred an
existing domain name name or have registered it with a different
company, check the the original registrar’s nameservers have been re-
directed correctly. Your web host or registrar can check this for you
and it should only apply if your domain is not registered with the
same hosting company.

Hope that helps. Colin.
