Newbie FW X 5.6.6

I built a document in Pages. It has text and jpg images (in line).

I reduced the file size of the document, then exported it as a PDF.

I tried importing the PDF to a web page, but when publish hand view it, the text is blurry.

If I import the Pages document, publish, the text looks great, but the images are not there.

The document is a photoessay. I would like to have it on one of my website pages, as it looks in either the Pages document or as a PDF.

What tactic should I use?

Thanks
Tom

Why not use an image of the PDF with a link to download the actual file and if you tell visitors the size they can determine if they want to look at it.

Doing this you can then make your PDF best quality.

Why not? Because that is not what I want to do.

…“you can then make your PDF best quality.”

I have never seen an option to vary the quality of a PDF.

I have never seen an option to vary the quality of a PDF.

You can if you use Acrobat Pro

Without seeing your original document it is difficult to tell how to improve your quality but I would start with your app and use hi res images before outputting as a PDF.

And then if I wanted to reduce the file size I would use Acrobat Pro to do it (there are other apps that will do it too)

As you can when exporting to PDF from Pages. (Isn’t this the thread
where the document started off in Pages?).
