Newbie Question on Aligning Form Fields with their Labels

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum. I’m creating a form with single-line text fields, and I want HTML text labels beside each one, for example, First Name, Last Name, Student ID. My problem is that I cannot get the baseline of the labels aligned with the baseline of the text the form fields. I’ve checked the Knowledge Base, and it recommends using tables for form elements, but this does not appear to help with the baselines. I am also wondering how I can change the style of text in the form elements.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

I find it easiest to select a complete row of a table and using the small cell selector in the inspector then align the items vertically.

There is also an action I think called Form Element Styler - try actionsforge.com for it.
