Non Flash Audio Player

Hi All,

I would like to set up an audio player to play multiple files. Would like it to stop any track that has been previously clicked on so both are not playing back at the same time. I am aware of all the flash players out there but want to keep things non flash for iPhone and iPad compatibility. Would also like to keep everything contained in the site and not use the yahoo approach.

Look forward to your input,
TeamSDA_Dave

I found this - but haven’t tried it (nor really looked at it in any depth)

Do a Google for html5 audio players. The examples i’ve seen mostly use the jquery library so you’ll have to be careful about where you use it to prevent conflicts.

Thank You Both,

Our interest in a non flash player has to do with our push to make everything compatible with iPhone and iPad as well as desktops. This move is to also include Video. As for jquery issue I have also heard that it can cause freeway issues. Any further input on this and iPhone iPad players would be appreciated.

Thank You All, Team SDA_Dave

Video.js - Make your player yours

Tested on an iPad and it does work well.

Wow Chuck,

This looks pretty promising. I wonder if there is something similar for Audio only. Any thoughts as to when freeway may bundle this up into an action?

Yep…never. Some third party individual will have to put in the time.
