Not enough memory to upload

Hello, I got a big issue with a Freeway 3.5.15 (the same when I try with the last Freeway 5) : when I try to upload the site I got this message : " can’t upload not enough memory (-108:379:0) " I got an IMAC G5 with 2,5 Go RAM and OSX 10.4.6 . French support thought at first it was because of the old 3.5.15 version but I got the same issue with the 5 demo. My site is more than 1 Go and I got the issue because of its weight, if I remove some photos it’s Ok, if I add new photos it’s coming back again so in the end I can no longer update the site ! Thanks a lot for your help !

Did you try to contact Softpress’s support? I had a similar problem with an action and they replied to me:

"This is a bug in the Italian localisation that I have now logged. If you select the Freeway application in the Applications folder, press Command-i and disable Italian in the Languages section the application should open in English (you may need to disable some of the other languages too). This will get around the problem until we fix it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Joe Billings
Head of Technical Support
Softpress Systems

That may be a similar incident also for the french localisation.

un saluto

Umberto

Thanks for your reply Umberto, unfortunately it doesn’t work, I removed all languages except english and I still have this message when I try to upload (or even sometimes when I try to preview : " Could not complete your request because ther is not enough memory (-108:379:0) "

When I try with FREEWAY 5 the error code is a little bit different : (-108:379:2328)

thanks for your help !

Hi Gurney,

Gilles from Tri-Edres sent your file though to me. It seems you have
the Link to New Window and the Pic to New Window applied to a lot of
objects at the same time but the Link to New Window Action isn’t
actually setup to do anything.

I fixed the Out of Memory error by going to Edit>Actions and unticking
the Link To New Window Action.

Note that this will delete all instances of that Action from your
site. The alternative is to go through each page and remove the
Actions where you have a situation like this (the two actions on the
same item).

I’m not sure if both Actions on the same item is the cause of the
problem but doing the above certainly worked for me. I will
investigate further.

Regards,

Joe

Thanks a lot Joe, removing the Link to New Windows Action worked also for me ! The site uploaded for more than 5 hours after that but it’s fixed ! Gilles talked about a Javascript issue also after looking at my file, what do you think about that ?
