OPinion and Question

Here’s a link to a site I’m working on. It’s just a home page:

http://k923.net/fbreview/index.html

Questions: I’ve tried to view this on various monitors and PCs and sites that show different resolutions and it looks too big in most. Should I make it smaller? To me, it looks small already. Especially the width.

Also, if I wanted to, how can I make the main section float on top of my background gradient? The BG is a repeating 20 px wide PNG file.

It’s a semi-box model, which I’ve tried to make a total box model, but I can’t see to rearrange elements at this point.

Thanks.

In case anyone’s looking, I mad a slight adjustment and figured out the page floating over bg thing (Duh!)

It’s a nice looking start although I don’t understand the purpose of all the dead space at the top - especially when your navigation is on the LH side. You could probably also tighten up the LH margin as well so it’s not forced to be so far away from the side when the browser window size is reduced horizontally. I think the size of the page itself is OK.
