In case you missed it, OS X 10.9 Mavericks is releasing today, completely free.
I know I’m planning to make the jump (I recently got a second display and can’t wait for the better support). According to Softpress, FW Pro should run properly on it.

They are still talking – you can watch it live at http://apple.com right this moment. Traditionally, the servers will start releasing it after the keynote is over.

They didn’t say exactly when. All they said was today, for free, on the App Store. They are introducing the new iLife as we speak: Apple Events - Apple

Surprisingly, the tickets asking about Mavericks haven’t quite started pouring in yet, but I imagine they will soon! Anyway, from the testing we’ve done with the Developer preview of Mavericks, it does look like Freeway will work just fine on it.

I am updating now… Does anyone know when iWork update will be available?
Today, apparently. I think they might appear in the App Store only if
you’re running 10.9, though. They will be chargeable except when
bundled with a new Mac/iPad/iPhone but Garageband, iMovie and iPhoto
will be free to anyone running 10.9.
I tend not to update att all to any new version untill the first storm is over, and all apps are tested in the field. Mostly after a few bugfixes and version numbers updates. Not on my working machine, that is. If you use your computer only as a hobby it is something else.
Out of interest Mavericks - iWork and free updates through the app store.
I was seeing only paid for installs for Pages, Numbers and Keynote. All
my Macs had these apps installed before the app store was launched.
Today I installed Mavericks on an old MBP. I got the same problem there,
all psind-for iWork apps.
UNTIL I installed iWork 09 from CD … as soon as it was finished
installing, miraculously all the apps were converted from “Money” to
“Update” and now on my other Macs they read “Install”.
I hope this helps to save yourselves a pile of money albeit smallish.

I’m on 10.9, and the new iLife apps aren’t on the MAS yet. However, the new iWork is (at $20 a pop). So far, I’m liking Mavericks.
I think Apple updated this. Yesterday I only got the Buy option for $20 per app and today it has changed to “Update” in the app store. My original iWork suite was from a Family Pack purchased at my local Apple retail store.
That’s similar to me, try reinstalling from the original CD and in the
app store my account changed from Buy to Install/Update on other Macs.
