overlap problem

Good Sunday Evening.

Quick question - I know there is an “easy” solution… but I cant get my head around it.

I did a site:

http://www.sunsvigor.com

on the front I have been told that the bullets on the right of the showcase are overlapping the paragraphs to the left of the showcase. This seems to only happen in IE (at leastV. 7)

How can i fix this so it doesn’t happen.

Thank you very much!

Overlapping layers!

Remember the Safari thing about increasing the text size to see where a site is going to fall apart?

View>Zoom Text Only and increase the font size a couple of notches. Typically IE and PCs render text a bit larger.

I apologize, fat fingers

FOr some reason, I thought the RPL action helped prevent this issue… with other sites I have done with this action I been able to increase (command +) and all increased nicely.

what am i doing wrong with this one?

Is everything on your page a layer? If you have any non layered items, RPL will ignore it.

If you increase the text on that front page, there’s overlapping in the left column with “Ask and you shall receive” area.

It looks like the item containing the bullets is overlapping the main item called body1. Make body1 wider so it can accommodate item3 (the item with the bullets) without item3 sitting on the right edge of body1.

I have all as layered.

I have rpl on the folder not on the page. Is that ok?

Also, when I increase on safari and ff I see no overlapping.

Good AFternoon,

I did as stated above from Joe - but I jst looked at a site on an imac and the lower portion of text is being pushed way down. How can I correct this? I increased item 1 to fit item 3 and it looked fine on mine - but on here (safari) it is all out of wack.

I also am seeing the same problem on http://www.energychex.com

services page.

I am using RPL on both. please help!! I am very upset - I thought i followed the RPL rules

Julie, the energychex site looks like it works as expected. Everything gets pushed down, no overlaps.

I’m in Forefox on Mac.

Thank you - I saw it and the boxes that should be 2 top row, 2 second row 2 third

instead are all in one row going down on left.

is that what you are not seeing?

are you seeing the problem still w sunsvigor?

Thank you

Julie, it looks like there’s a big gap in that left column now.

Can you send me the Freeway file? Even just that page in the file.

I’m sure others know way more than me around here, but maybe it just needs a fresh pair of eyes.

Do you still have my email address?
