While trying to sort out Cookie problems with IE I came across the
specifications for P3P. The latest documentation at w3.org is from
2002.
Is P3P current? Should I be investigating and going along with it; or
is it obsolete? I’ve noticed seen any mention of it here.

No answers, so I have investigated it and now sort of understand what
it’s all about. We’ve managed to create and upload the files needed
to make IE 8 on XP and IE 7 on Windows 7 accept cookies with the
default user configuration. It now surprises me even more that
there’s been no mention of it here.
