Page and background

Apologies but having spent some time searching and reading through lots of excellent threads I am struggling to get this background and page bit. Is the b/g the whole of the area outside the “page” and is as big as the viewers monitor (ie if I drag out my browser window on this forum page the white b/g scales infinitely) and the “page” stays centered. The “page” is evident because of the grey radius cornered border OK what if I want my site to not have an evident border around the page and for it to have a colour overall background. If I specify a colour for my page’s background and the background (browser window) will they match “seamlessly” ? (This has got to sound really complicated now - I didn’t mean it to do so) If it helps this site has what I would like

It’s really clean and simple - any advice please. Roger

Yes, setting a background color with nothing on the page selected will be behind everything else.

Affirmative. Simply add an html box that covers the entire “page” area and send it to the back so it is behind everyting else. Then fill it with the same color as the background.
