Hi, Im a newbie so please bear with me here. One page appears fine on my iMac but when viewing it on any iOs device it looks like it has veen shrunk 60% and shoved into the upper left hand corner.
The way I got around this was to trash the page and reconstruct one from the master. But can anyone explain what happened?

Not without seeing it.
If you have any issues it is always useful to post a link to an online example.
That way we can look at the underlying code and see exactly what is going on.
There are many factors that can affect this sort of behaviour but to speculate blindly is difficult.
It may have been as simple as you changing the iPhone viewport settings in the inspector without realising.

A screenshot is not nearly as helpful as an actual online page that we can interact with and view the code.

I would go as far as to say that a screenshot is no more helpful than a description - and that is not much help!
