Pages not displaying correctly on Macbook Pro

Hi gang,

I am not sure what is going on, but here is my dilemma.

Using chrome on a Macbook Pro, the following pages on my site are not being displayed correctly. The common symptom is the white part of the page does not extend all the way to the bottom (below the copyright and Qi graphics):

  1. http://xssmgmt.com/xssabout.html

  2. http://xssmgmt.com/xssnews.html

  3. http://xssmgmt.com/xsscontact.html

The page alignment is set to center and the width to maximum. The page maximum width is set to 980, but the maximum height varies from 760 to 1000, depending on page.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a fix?

Thanks for all of your help in advance!

Tom

Hi Tom,

I’m not clear what your issue is… when I view your pages on the Chrome
Browser, I see the white area extend from the top of the browser window to
the bottom of the browser window… is this not what you want?

Best,

Ernie Simpson

Tom,

I am not sure what the fix is but i only see the problem on Chrome, Safari and Firefox on the following page
http://xssmgmt.com/xssnews.html

The other display fine, however the subject page only displays the “White” page background for about 85% of the page depth, if that makes sense.

Perhaps I can spread a little light on the situation: you will only see this problem if your browser window is short enough to require scrolling. I’m afraid that I don’t have the time to troubleshoot this right now, but this should get Ernie and David on track.

Looks fine from this angle … your issue is not recognized here

Tested by Safari on OSX Mavericks …

OK - I see the issue now.

If the browser window is smaller than the page height then scrolling shows grey at the bottom.

Will have to dig deeper into your construction.

The only page that displays correctly for me is http://xssmgmt.com/xssservices.html and it has the clearfix action on it.

I took so long to compose my post that Caleb pointed this out before mine appeared.

I would try adding the clearfix page action and see if that helps your issue.

Other than that it is difficult to diagnose without the FW file
