pdf / graphic issue

Good afternoon.

I am doing a website for a restaurant. due to the size of their menu I am putting a graphic box that will contain a picture of the menu and when clicked will open up to larger pictures of it.

I made the menu in pages - exported as PDF went into finder and changed to a .jpg

I imported the picture into the graphic box and it looks very pixelated. Even in preview / browser I also tried to go into PXM and change the size to do a pass through

What can I do to fix this?

You might well get a better result by changing from PDF to jpeg in Photoshop. I think you have PS - do you not?

I do. I have been using pxm more so I didnt think of psd. I will try that…

You might well get a better result by changing from PDF to jpeg in Photoshop. I think you have PS - do you not?

Dave,

I tried PSD and i am getting the same results… I opened the pdf - rescaled it to the proper size of the graphic box - saved as .jpg (only 67k) and it is still pixelated.

Any thoughts? thanks

PS…
I have even created a new doc in pxm / psd and saved as jpg… still very pixelated.

I am unsure what is going on - first time I have had a problem with this. ANy assistance.

I think I figured out the issue.

Something with the children graphics. - once I unattached all and created a new page and made the graphics boxes on the pasteboard not above the picture it worked fine//

Something with the children graphics.

If your graphics are combining then their output type can affect whatever they are combined with.
