I think it is better to use one of the website builders for photographers like those on The Best Website Builders for Photographers in 2023 | WebBuildersGuide. They were created for this purpose, so your friend should be satisfied with the result. Personally I used PhotoShelter Builder and haven’t regretted my choice. I hope this information will be helpful for you!

That page says 2017 but then mentions iWeb. Also it links to all the well known webapps but not to native apps. And it shows no affiliation. This is clearly spam.

I Have always found https://amazingslider.com/ to be the easiest way to add pictures or video and it responsive.
