Play/ Pause Sequence Timer Action

Type of Action: Item Action (to use it, select an item and go to Item>Actions to choose the Action from the list).

What the Action can do: This Action lets you do the following:
  • It lets you set up a button on your page which can play or pause a slideshow of images made with the Sequence Timer Action by clicking on or mousing over a graphic item.
This Action can only be applied to a graphic item (such as a button).

To use the Action, select a graphic item, go to Item>Actions and choose Link to New Window. With the item selected, look in the Actions palette to see the options.


There is just one option in the Actions palette:
  • Trigger Type: Choose between On Click or On Mouse Over as the method for controlling the play or pause of the slideshow so it toggles on and off by either clicking on the graphic item or mousing over it
