Hello again. I need to make a popup window with legal advisory, but Im following instructions in the reference guide and it doesnt work. What I did:
i create a page, size 600 x 650, called avisolegal_text.html with the content
in the index page, make a link to open a blank page called avisolegal.html
in this avisolegal.html, I insert as an action page the open POPUP window action, and set in the palette: size 600x650, and avisolegal as window name and avisolegal_text.html as the page to open.
I try and it just opens avisolegal.html.
Is any other thing to do?
Hello again. Is any place to search about popup windows. I cant find anything… I wolud like to open the pop up after clicking a button, but cant manage with the action… for me, it doesnt work…
Can you post a link to your non-working sample, and let us know what you tried? There are built-in Actions within Freeway for opening smaller, sized windows from a graphic or html link on your parent page, and there is also the Swiss Army knife of these – the Spawn New Window suite, from Paul Dunning, and available on ActionsForge.

And I have just read your post where you recommend ScriptyLightbox or ScriptyLightbox2 Actions to open popup windows with an image. Perhaps its possible with that?
You could do this with ScriptyLightbox (not SL2) with the following conditions: make sure you apply the PHP Make Insert Page Action to the page that contains the legal stuff, and make sure that you enable External Stylesheets in the Site Preferences dialog.
