the reason for not getting any answer here could be:
“All are based on the same master” but …
… all child pages are further filled with any stuff separately - in your case images.
It is not only the nav jumping, the complete image row is jumping as well. So I guess there is on this particular page on of your table rows above a tiny but bigger than on the other pages.
I have to admit that I can’t read code very well - especially “table-constructions”. And I must admit further, that I tend to say:
The only necessity of using table constructions is to proper host form elements, but never to use it as “construction-element” for entire pages. Using Freeway offers you modern tools to do it without table construction.
Further more I like to invite you to have a look at following:
Thank you for your help, Thomas and David.
Thomas … I did not use tables - so the advice of David went into the right direction.
But thank you once more fot the German Freeway-forum - that’s really great!!!
So thank you too, David.
I did as you told me, but there is still one page beeing crazy.
You may not have drawn a table but with the CSS button off then the underlying structure of the page is based on tables.
The important thing to remember is that if you make your navigation etc (everything on the left) layered items then the content on the right will not affect it.
Thank you again, David - but I did as you told me … but how can it be that four pages work correctly and one is crazy?
I put the layer on the master-page and all theese five pages are made from this master page

I dont see any ‘layered’ items on these pages at all. Purely a table structure.
With your navigation item(s) selected look in the Inspector.
The layer box has to be ticked. Once you have done that to your navigation on the Master page then check that it has applied to the navigation on the child pages.
Once you do that then the Navigation layer will be unaffected by your Gallery thumbnails no matter what size the caption text gets displayed.
