[Pro 3.5] Copy and paste text

Hi All,

I’d like to create my written text in a word processor (such as Mariner
Write or Text Edit), and then copy/paste it into an HTML box in
Freeway. Does anyone see any unforeseen problems with this? I’m not
using Microsoft Word, and I could first save the text as Plain Text, if
necessary.

Thanks!

Richard

I’d suggest you just write it in plain text if you’re using TextEdit. I’ve recently used some software called ‘Plain Clip’ that removes all formatting from any text on the clipboard. However you’ll need to use like iKey or some sort of keyboard shortcut enabler because there’s not really an interface to the software.

You can write or obtain the text from multiple sources of your choice. Then paste into TextEdit and use the menu item “Format - Make Plain Text” to do just that.

Thanks cosjr. I was pretty sure plain text would keep any oddities out
of the mix.
