[Pro] A Backdraft Web

This is a test file for a website I have designed using Caleb Grove’s Backdraft application. Have a look and let me have comments. This is my first attempt at a responsive web site, and I found Backdraft extremely good. The pages shrink to fit on iPad and mobile.

Unfortunately, you have - as so many FW users, not the gist what “positioning” means and how it influences the way a “green rectangle” reacts in a smooth world.

You added some items just by drop and drag, correct? Well - this is the wrong approach cause every item needs to be placed inline (double click so you see the flushing cursor and chose insert → HTML item).

Drop and drag requires a “new view” in how to handle them - so if placed “absolute”, this item requires a special treatment regarding width and its relation to a parent item.

And now when I recall this correctly - you subscribed to theLounge, did you? Well -if, I honestly ask:

How much did you suck out from there? Assumed not much I suppose which is a pity. Cause I’m doing this for given’ you the best of help as possible and not sucking you coins out of the pocket.

Cheers

Thomas
