[Pro] Ad doesn't show up

I inserted a markup item with HTML code that pulls graphics for an advertisement from another site. The item displays properly in page preview, but doesn’t show up when published to a browser. Here’s the HTML code:

<img src=“http://gfxa.sheetmusicplus.com/smp_monthpromo_sb.gif” border=“0"”>

Thoughts?

A link to the live-example (which doesn’t work).

Thomas,

Thanks for your reply. Since I’m new, can you clarify what I should send a link for? Do you want to see the web page where it’s not showing up?

Thanks,

Jim

Correct. The code you’ve shown us doesn’t show context-- which is the web
page it resides in.

Here’s the web page where the ad doesn’t show up. In Freeway, there is a markup item in the blank area on the right side. As mentioned, the ad shows up fine in page preview, but this is the result when published.

Thanks for your help.

Jim, you sent us the wrong link… the ad is quite visible in the link that
you sent.

That’s quite strange because when I click the link I sent, there’s nothing there! I’m using Firefox on a Mac. Would that cause any difference?

I’m using Firefox 35.0.1 on OSX 10.10.2

Also Chrome 40.0.2214.94 (64-bit) and Safari 8.0.3

If it shows in Freeway’s preview, that is a browser or is using the same
system assets required by browsers. Have you tried previewing locally in
your Firefox browser?

It sounds like there is a problem with your system/browser.

Thank you very much for your help. I reinstalled Firefox and all is well. I’m not sure which setting was the problem, but your insights help me correct it. Thanks again.
