[Pro] Adding header graphic to existing site

I have been searching of ran answer and have come up empty handed.
I would like to add a header graphic to my current site and would like to know if there is a way to do this so that it will automatically move all current contact down the page without having to do each page manually. I have 80 pages.
My site is located here www.teddunlimited.com if you would like to look at it.
Thank you in advance, any help is appreciated.

Let me just clarify this… you want to add a header graphic to approx. 80
pages that moves the existing content down to make room for it WITHOUT you
actually having to go to each of your 80 Freeway pages, move your content
down and insert a header graphic…?

That is correct Ernie.
I am hoping that there is a way to do this on the Master page as all of the 80 pages are based off of that Master page.

Simple answer - No.

Unless you have created your Master with an inline construction.

Can you post a link to your existing site.

David, my existing site is: www.teddunlimited.com

No - this is not going to work.

I would suggest that you create a new Master and gradually move your pages over to use it on a gradual basis.

After you have the new Master - copy all content that is unique to the child page to the pasteboard, delete the rest, apply the new master and then paste back in the unique content and adjust positioning to suit.

It wont take that long to do and you can do it a bit at a time.

Not exactly the answer I was looking for… I will do as you suggest and work it in gradually.
Thank you for your help!

Building a website is like building a house - foundations first!

Much more difficult to put in a basement once the roof is on.

My grandfather did this – but first he built the jacks that he would use to raise the house, a wheelbarrow, and a cement mixer (out of an old garbage can and a washing-machine motor).

I guess this is what people did before there was Home Depot and cable TV.

It helped that he was a tool-and-die maker – a craftsman who makes the tools other craftsmen (or a factory) will use to build things.

My hero. Full stop.

And becoming far more common in areas of high real estate prices. City of London prices are making it a reasonable cost option to dig down to extend when sideways is not doable/affordable.

Dave – I love The Great Escape!

Tedd, I know that you wanted an easy answer, but I do think this is a
valuable design lesson. I would start a whole new Freeway file – *
unlimiTED_v2* – and add your new content, copy paste the rest. You will
find reasons to change or expand any design or content as time passes, so
embrace the work - it is a labor of love, after all. Here’s to v3, and 4 as
well

Trying to think about an automated way round this, could the iFrame action help at all? I’ve never used it but from reading it’s description could you build a page with a header on it, and directly below have an iFrame that calls the other pages?

Or I might just be talking rubbish. In fact I probably am. Ignore me…!!

Thank you Ernie and Dave for your help on this. I do not mind making the changes manually, I was just hoping there was an automated way of doing it.
I appreciate your suggestions and will be implementing them to make the changes I need.

Thanks again!
